01
Discuss your activity
Contact the Head of the Laboratory with the course or activity, the equipment you expect to use and your proposed date.
02
Arrange introductory guidance
Ask for an explanation of the software, headsets and booths you will need. Allow time to check the setup before the session.
03
Confirm practical arrangements
Check room access and any scheduling arrangements before bringing a group to the laboratory.
A practical session checklist
Before starting: clarify the task and the required setup with the lecturer; check your headset and audio at a comfortable level.
During the session: follow the lecturer’s instructions and the approved laboratory rules. Ask for assistance if equipment or software does not work as expected.
Before leaving: save and submit work as instructed, sign out of personal accounts and leave the workstation ready for the next user.
